You can check the location of your files through the Downloads button but in order to transfer them to iPod you need to use iTunes to perform sync operations. Download and install iTunes, install it and connect the iPod to the computer. Wait for the device to be installed then add the music to iTunes from the Downloads folder using drag and drop. Click on the iPod icon > Music > Sync. Choose the items to sync and you will find them on the iPod.
